Bring people back
before they forget you.

Most people who install your app never open it a second time. Deckhand sets up notifications properly, finds where users are dropping off, then writes and sends the messages that pull them back.

Flat fee per app. If you are not set up in 48 hours, your first month is free.

The problem

The first 48 hours decide everything

Almost all of your churn happens before someone has used the app twice, and nothing is set up to notice or to intervene.

Push asked too early

Prompting for notification permission on first launch is the fastest way to be refused permanently.

Nothing brings them back

No day-2 message, no day-7 message. The app sits on a home screen and is deleted a week later.

Nobody writes the copy

Push gets configured and then never used, because writing good notifications is work nobody has time for.

How we do it

From silence to a reason to come back

Agents do the repetitive work. A person on our side does the judgement. You are told which is which, every time.

Agent

Sets up push properly

APNs key, FCM credentials, capability toggles, deep links that open the right screen. Wired end to end through OneSignal or CleverTap, not left half done.

Agent

Finds where people leave

Deckhand reads your funnel and identifies the exact screen where new users stop, rather than guessing at the problem.

A person

Writes the messages

Notification copy carries your voice, and one bad message gets your app muted forever. A person writes every campaign and another reviews it.

Agent

Sends at the right time

Scheduled for when your users are actually active in their own timezone, not at a default hour that suits nobody.

A person

Reads the result each week

Someone on our team looks at opt-outs and mutes alongside opens, and pulls a campaign that is annoying people even if it is converting.

You

Approve the campaign

You see the messages and the schedule. Nothing goes to your users until you say so.

Every message is written by a person

Notifications are the one place where a generic sentence costs you the user forever. We do not let a model send unreviewed copy to your customers. A person writes it, a second person checks it, and you approve it before it goes.

What's included

Retention actually run, rather than configured

Push setup APNs, FCM, capabilities and deep links, end to end
Permission timing moved to after first value, where people say yes
Drop-off analysis to find the exact screen losing you new users
Notification copy written and reviewed by a person, every time
Send timing tuned to when your users are actually active
Lifecycle campaigns day 2, day 7 and win-back, running continuously
WhatsApp for markets where push is not where attention lives
Opt-out watch so a campaign that annoys people gets pulled
Why it works

Configured is not the same as running

Almost every app has push installed and almost none of them use it. The gap is not tooling. Somebody has to decide what to say and when, and that is the part we actually do.
